Adding DTS Business Objects
Depending on the chosen DTS application, DTS business objects are created slightly differently.
In all cases, you can create business objects via the step Maintain DTS objects within the Setup folder of the DTS activity tree.
Proceed as follows for ECC (including S/4HANA) scenarios:

Execute the step Maintain DTS objects.

In the toolbar, click the
icon.

Enter the name of the business object.
NOTE The recommended naming convention is the name of the SAP data element rep- resenting the SAP business object. Example: BUKRS for a company code.
The business object must be one word starting with an alphabetical character. -
Select the business object type.

Click Confirm.

Proceed as follows for BW (including BW/4HANA) and SCM scenarios:

Execute the step Define scope and transformation logic.

In the toolbar, click the
icon.

Select the desired option:

Create business object: Creates a single business object based on one basic characteristic.

Generate business objects from object list: Executes the mass creation of business objects from a list of InfoObjects.

Generate BOs based on ERP fields: Executes the mass creation of business objects based on ERP fields.

Enter the name of the business object.
NOTE The recommended naming convention is to use the name of the InfoObject or ERP data element representing the InfoObject. The SAP standard InfoObjects must be named without the leading 0.EXAMPLE BUKRS or COMP_CODE for a company code. -
Choose if the business objects represent an InfoObject or a data element.

Enter the value of the SAP object, e.g. 0COMP_CODE for an InfoObject or BUKRS for a data element.

Click Confirm.
